*** This is a live in-person or Zoom event. For our virtual lifting and nutrition event, please register for the "Midlife fitness and nutrition for women" event here: Peri-menopause, menopause and post-menopause are a natural part of life that can be challenging, frustrating and anxiety producing. During this 3-part/4-week seminar, we will discuss fitness, nutrition and mental health as it relates to this time of our life. Each week will have a different focus and discussion that will include homework, recipes, fitness guidance and meditations. Week 1: Introduction and discussion: what is Menopause and how we change Week 2: Mental Health Week 3: Fitness Week 4: Nutrition and putting it all together Topics that will be discussed include Cortisol and other hormones, best fitness practices for peri-menopause and beyond, and how our nutritional needs change to help support weight maintenance. This seminar will run during the following dates and will be available via Zoom or in-person in the Bee Cave, TX area: Sundays 5-6pm 1/21/24 1/28/24 2/4/24 2/11/24 * About the speaker: Tami is a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutrition Coach, and a midlife women's fitness specialist. She holds a double Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology and feels that the 3 topics in this seminar must be integrative for success. (We will need a minimum of 20 participants registered to avoid cancelation of the seminar)
